My Philosophy
Nature is a beautiful, wondrous, breathtaking, and sometimes dangerous spectacle to behold, without the need for any enhancement.
With all the fakery and trickery we are exposed to on a daily basis, I want my stories to showcase the natural beauty and power of our world the way that it is, without the need to dress it up with anything synthetic.
How it all started...
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated with technology, and when my dad let me use his Canon FTb 35mm film camera, that was the moment sparking a journey…
When digital cameras became a reality and went mainstream, this was the trigger to finally get into the kind of photography I wanted to pursue.
Since then, I’ve immersed myself in landscape, and occasionally street photography, seeking to explore the intricacy of light and shadow, and how it shapes every facet of our existence.
The Visual Language
Photography is the art form of light, spoken when words fail us…
To express that visual narrative is not just to pull out ones' camera and press the shutter. A scene may only reveal its true story and meaning when nature wishes it, giving one an epiphany at just the right angle and moment in which to understand and immortalize the way it was meant to for all time.
